Healing Hands Ministries Medical & Dental Clinic has seen exponential growth in our short time of having the privilege of serving so many uninsured children and their families. As we entered 2009, I told the board of Healing Hands that it was my belief God was going to financially bless Healing Hands in a mighty way even with all of the economic uncertainty. We set a faith goal of starting the dental clinic and hiring a full-time nurse and a part-time physician. We claimed the Lord’s scriptural promises and expected financial blessing for the sole purpose of being able to serve more patients and to give the Lord God almighty the glory for such a blessing. He has delivered in a mighty way. Healing Hands Dental Clinic is about to celebrate its 3rd birthday, we have hired a full-time nurse and are recruiting for a part-time physician. This has only been possible due to His provision and the generosity of so many loyal friends and neighbors. Healing Hands is so grateful to many of you that have been a part of making financial sacrifices to support those that do not know if they will be able pay their rent, much less be able to afford much needed medical and dental care. As we approach 2010, Healing Hands knows the need will continue to grow with unprecedented unemployment and a growing need. Our pledge to our patients and generous donors will be to continue to focus on recruiting more volunteer physicians, dentists, nurses, hygienists, dieticians and administrative volunteers to increase our ability to offer more help to more children and families in need. In addition, with the part-time physician hire we will be adding 1248 additional hours of operations to the clinic.
